The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, October 3 features a day of cliffhangers, as Sharon processes Mariah’s news about Nick, Billy proposes to Phyllis, and Victor crashes his son’s wedding.
Wedding Day Truce
At Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Nikki’s (Melody Thomas Scott) urging, Victor (Eric Braeden) arrived at Nick’s (Joshua Morrow) wedding… uninvited. A gracious Nick shook his dad’s hand and even let him around Christian and Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind).
Victor and Nikki were less gracious, however, when Abby arrived with Arturo (Jason Canela) as her date.
They wondered why she’d bring the glorified hired help to a family function. Earlier, Arturo told Abby that he doesn’t even like weddings. A legal document doesn’t keep couples together.
Mariah (Camryn Grimes) was shocked when, after talking through her options, Sharon (Sharon Case) decided to still marry Nick, even if she now knows he slept with Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) the night Sharon took off her ring and seemed to be gone for good.

Sharon sent her daughters and bridesmaids to the church on ahead of her. She was running late and not answering texts, so Mariah went back to the house to try and find her, then returned to the church to announce that Sharon is gone!
Marry Me!
After complaining about Ashley (Eileen Davidson) to Jack, Billy (Jason Thompson) was first completely obnoxious to Victoria (Amelia Heinle), then backtracked and admitted he’s been acting horribly lately and promised to get help, for his own sake and the kids’. He also apologized to Summer who, earlier, apologized to Nick for her own behavior.
As they waited for the bride to show up and snark about attention-seeking Sharon, Phyllis swore to always stick by Billy’s side. She loves him. Billy responded by proposing they should get married as soon as he’s out of rehab.
