CHOOSE ALREADY! Fans Weigh In On HOT Days of Our Lives Triangle

Actors on Days of Our Lives (DOOL) have a few jobs to do, but one of the most important is to say the words on the page. Fans may not always like what a particular character is doing, but the truth is the performer is paid to bring the script to life!

Billy Flynn, a Daytime Emmy nominee for Outstanding Lead Actor for his portrayal of Chad DiMera, is one such performer. Some days the script calls for him to be expressing his feelings for Gabi, and some days the scripts are more focused on Abby (Marci Miller).

Make Up Your Mind! 
The majority of you, 97% to be exact, want Chad to pick a lady and stick to it! This is a rather high number considering that most fans are well aware love triangles are a long-running staple of soap operas!

DAYS, in particular, is known for many triangles such as Hope/Bo/Carly, Shawn/Belle/Philip, and Roman/Marlena/John.

Still, it’s also worth noting that in most cases there is an “OTP” (which stands for One True Pairing, meaning that for most characters there’s a one and only they should be with).

Let It Play
A small percentage of you, 3% to be precise, are okay with Chad going back and forth between the two women. This group selected the option: “No, let him be wishy washy — it’s a soap opera!”

These voters are taking a more light-hearted approach and while they may have a favorite, they know that there has to conflict for the characters to remain interesting.

After all, how compelling would it be to watch Chad and Abby (or Gabi!) sit around and debate whether or not to go to the movies or stay home and watch what’s on Netflix!

Whether you’re an Abby or Gabi (Camila Banus) fan, it’s best to let Chad go on his journey as he figures out which woman he wants and see how it all plays out.
