- Chanel and Johnny face a hurdle.
- EJ plays hero.
Rachel’s Sentencing Rocks Brady, Marlena, and Belle’s Defense
Kristen (Stacey Haiduk) gave Rachel (Lorelei Olivia Mote) her version of a pep talk prior to her hearing. At the same time, Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Marlena (Deidre Hall) were leaping to the obvious, though wrong, conclusion that Rachel tried to poison Holly (Ashley Puzemis) with her own anti-psychotic drugs. Now they’re trying to figure out how to deal with the situation.
Kristen Targets Marlena to Protect Rachel at Any Cost
The situation with Rachel brings out Kristen’s worst instincts, as she goes after Marlena to protect her precious princess (who, in this case, is actually innocent). But the point may be moot as, despite Belle’s (Martha Madison) best efforts, the judge has their own opinion on how the tiny attempted murderer should be punished.
Chanel and Johnny’s Adoption Hits a Sophia Roadblock as EJ Seizes Control
Justin (Wally Kurth) assured Chanel (Raven Bowens) and Johnny (Carson Boatman) that their last hearing to finalize Trey’s adoption is just pro forma. They’ll come in, they’ll say some words, and Trey will be theirs forever.
But they don’t know just how furious Sophia (Rachel Boyd) is at the development, or how far she’s already going to get revenge on Holly, who didn’t screw up Sophia’s life nearly as much as Chanel and Johnny did. But, then again, Sophia doesn’t know how determined EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) is to get back into his son’s good graces. And if Sophia needs to be sacrificed for that? Oh, well….
Whether it’s Trey’s hearing or Rachel’s, EJ is going to make himself heard. And he’s going to make sure he looks good doing it. Are you ready for EJ DiMera: Hero?
