October 2025 Performer of the Month
The Nominees
Jane Elliot earned our top spot as Soap Hub’s Performer of the Month in September, and once again, she’s made the list for her outstanding take on Tracy’s grief. Elliot appears effortless as Tracy switches back and forth from a conniving Quartermaine to a woman grieving her sister-in-law, and now her family home. Her breakdown while unpacking boxes certainly broke all of us watching, in only a way Elliot could achieve.
New to Port Charles but certainly not new to soaps, Erika Slezak barged into the Quartermaine Mansion and won us all over with her charm as Monica’s (the late Leslie Charleson) estranged sister, Ronnie. This character is fresh to both the audience and the people of Port Charles; nothing like those around her. She’s sweet and (mostly) innocent, but when pushed to her limits, let’s out a fierceness only Slezak can possess.
Topping off our list of legendary nominees is none other than Genie Francis. The moment Laura stormed into the mansion and put Drew (Cameron Mathison) in his place after catching him threaten the kids was another notable moment for this fan-favorite. Francis never fails to put a smile on viewers’ faces, whether it’s by standing up to villains or simply showing up on screen (like she will again, according to General Hospital spoilers for October 31!).
The Top Spot
Our top spot goes to someone no one saw coming: Michael E. Knight as Martin. Until this month, Knight has portrayed a loveable, lighthearted character, who never set out to harm a soul. But being in Drew’s orbit changes people, and when he reminded Ronnie he was behind the changes to Monica’s will and then proceeded to force her to sell the house to Drew, it was a moment to remember. Knight gave us a true villain’s origin story with those scenes, and it seems Evil Martin has only just begun.
