On the next General Hospital, spoilers for Friday, May 31, 2024, focus on characters upset over leaked information, insensitive treatment, and potentially troubling behavior.

Coming up in Port Charles

On this last day of May, Laura (Genie Francis) is giving angry vibes. The mayor asks her deputy mayor about leaked information. How will Jordan (Tanisha Harper — who still needs her own story) respond? Two of the things on Laura’s mind these days are sympathizing with Heather (Alley Mills) and turning against Sonny (Maurice Benard). So, does this leaked info cover either of these topics?

Teasers suggest Curtis (Donnell Turner) and Portia (Brook Kerr) take on a new mission. This mission is probably why Curtis says things like, “There’s gotta be more to the story.” It sounds like he’s putting his investigative hat back on, right?

Meanwhile, is Chase (Josh Swickard) pleading Finn’s case to Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst)? It seems like he wants Elizabeth to consider Finn’s (Michael Easton) loss of his dad in light of his recent behavior. And as understanding as Elizabeth is, sometimes it’s difficult to shake things off despite mitigating circumstances.

It’s a pop-up from Agent Cates (Adam J. Harrington) where he warns someone they’re “Playing right into his hands.” Is Jagger talking to Carly (Laura Wright) about Brennan (Charles Mesure)? Or is his ominous warning for Jason (Steve Burton — who recently paid tribute to the late Johnny Wactor)?

Speaking of Jason, he sees Sonny going down a dark path, so he tells his former friend just that. He lets Sonny know he’s in “real trouble.” However, is this so-called trouble of Sonny’s own making, or is this trouble from external forces working against him?

Finally, Carly is about to confide in Molly (Kristen Vaganos). Yes, Molly. Why does Carly feel the need to unburden herself to one of the Assistant District Attorneys of Port Charles? And why doesn’t she want anyone to know?
