Tara popped up on The Young and the Restless and begged Kyle to protect her – and their son. Kyle is eager to step up and play hero, even though Summer (Hunter King) is against it, and Ashland lurks on the outskirts, ready to pounce.

The Young and the Restless Polling

Is Kyle being played by a scheming Tara (Elizabeth Leiner)? Who really fathered little Harrison Locke? The fans have their suspicions:

Out of the Shadows

He may be away from Genoa City and off the YR canvas, but 46% of the audience still thinks Theo (Tyler Johnson) is the real Daddy. He’s always wanted whatever Kyle had, and that includes Tara. If she slept with one college boy in the Hamptons, why not two? Except Tara knows that Kyle and the Abbotts can do a much better job of standing up to Ashland (Richard Burgi).

True Story

Oh, it’s Kyle (Michael Mealor), 29% of you are confident. Why would Tara risk losing the wealthy man who she had no inclination of leaving back when she first got pregnant unless she knew for sure that Kyle was the father and could provide Harrison – and her – with more? She is planning the long con here, and the whole thing falls apart if Kyle isn’t the daddy.

Presumed Paternity

The mother’s legal husband is always presumed to be the father, and 15% of the voters presume Ashland is the biological one, too. Let’s get real: Tara knows what kind of a man Ashland is. Why would she risk sending him into Locke Ness monster mode by getting knocked up by a meaningless summer fling? The money is in giving her man a legitimate heir. She’s just using Kyle to raise her payday.

Who Cares?

Then there are the 10% of viewers who don’t really care. They don’t think it’s any one of the above. Maybe the butler did it. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
