The Young and the Restless spoilers for Monday, June 29 kick off another theme week. This time it’s Paul and Christine. This episode from September 21, 1994 features Paul searching for a way to make his proposal special, Sharon making a decision destined to change the course of her life forever, and Victor proving what he loves best.

After weeks dedicated to epic love stories like Victor (Eric Braeden) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), on and off again couples like Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon (Sharon Case)… and Nick and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford), and the regal Abbott family, we now have the romance of Paul (Doug Davidson) and Christine (Lauralee Bell).
Granted, Davidson is currently YR’s longest-running cast-member, and more than worthy of a week of his own. Who doesn’t want to revisit the beach bum who gave Nikki a sexually transmitted disease or the gas jockey who Victor hired to do his dirty work for him?

But if the only way we’re going to get to see classic Paul is with the woman whom he’s been married to – offscreen – for most of the past two decades… we’ll take him any way we can get it. On Monday, Paul proposes to Christine.
Where It All Began
But the romance to really keep an eye on is the one that takes off when a high school girl named Sharon decides she’s interested in a high school boy named Nick. She’s sure she’ll have no trouble getting him in the end. His parents will love her. What’s not to love?
My Beloved
Victor also has a decision to make. How will he protect that which matters most to him: Newman Enterprises. He built it with his own hands and he’ll be damned (see what we did there?) if he hands it over to anyone else.
