The Young and the Restless recap for Tuesday, June 16, 2020, takes fans back to Danny and Christine’s destination Hawaii wedding from November 1990, where the biggest crises turn out to be Leanna’s lost luggage.
Meanwhile, back in the winter cold of Genoa City, Nikki faces a life or death decision… and Victor almost breaks a facial expression to show how concerned he is about his ex-wife (and sister-in-law).

Danny (Michael Damian) and Christine’s (Lauralee Bell) troubles are behind them (and ahead of them, but they don’t know that yet… hi, Phyllis), so now it’s time to party in Hawaii like it’s… 1990.
They’ve got friends, they’ve got family, they’ve got Leanna (Barbara Crampton) the nut case screeching about her lost designer outfit… But, most of all, they have good times and good food… and location shots like back in the classic soap opera days of yore.

Decision Days
Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) fell off a horse and hurt her back so badly, she knows has a terrible decision to make: Get surgery to fix it… and risk paralysis — or live with the pain for the rest of her life.
Nikki’s husband, Jack (Peter Bergman) is loving and supportive and all those things you want your spouse to be as you’re sobbing and expressing your fears.
Nikki’s ex-husband, Victor (Eric Braeden), is more interested in discussing Christmas plans with them, the kids, and, of course, their spouses, which includes Ashley (Eileen Davidson).
Nikki keeps a stiff upper lip for Victor because she doesn’t want to upset him. And she wants to show him how tough she is. Victor isn’t a fan of weepy, hysterical women.
