Days of our Lives Recap for Tuesday, May 5, 2020, features Xander spilling the shady truth, Sarah going ballistic, Lani standing by her bestie, and Eric getting quite the sweet consolation prize.

Xander’s (Paul Telfer) visit to the jail did not go as planned. He tried to outsmart Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) but she saw right through him and demanded the truth. And so, Xander told her everything — Kristen attacking Victor, the baby swap drama, and Sarah going on the run.
She’s My Baby
As for Sarah (Linsey Godfrey), she was over in Paris going completely off the rails. Instead of taking off with the baby, she tied Rex (Kyle Lowder) up and argued with him. He was stunned to hear her tale of woe but even more shocked by her violent streak. Who knew the doting doc had it in her? Those precious hours could cost Sarah.
Back in Salem, Lani (Sal Stowers) helped Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) hide and even brought her a charger so they could listen to her messages. It wasn’t long after hearing Rex’s message that they began to put the pieces together. Sarah was in France with the baby!

More Twists and Turns For Brady
Meanwhile, Brady (Eric Martsolf) tried continuing his charade but it did not work. Victor (John Aniston) was awake and the truth was out. Brady didn’t deny it but he was caught. He switched gears to protecting Kristen by refusing to give up her locations or plans.
Eli did some digging and found out Lani was helping the couple. It was an eye-opening moment that left his jaw on the floor.
Call Me Daddy
Meanwhile, Eric (Greg Vaughan) mourned the loss of his daughter and tried to work through his feelings. Nicole (Arianne Zucker) stuck close to his side and planned a day with just her, him, and Holly.
The trio hit up the park where Holly began calling Eric “dad.” Nicole promptly stopped her and set the record straight but the kiddo was not having it. Her real dad was in heaven but why couldn’t Eric be her daddy here? The couple agreed. Holly will call Eric daddy whenever she wants now. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC.
