During the last few years that we saw Nicole on Days of Our Lives, it seemed like all she ever did was cry. Whether it was big bad Brady being mad she found true love with Eric, Daniel’s death, or everything to do with daughter Holly, Nicole cried. And cried. And cried.
Nicole (Arianne Zucker) cried a lot. She cried when Brady (Eric Martsolf) blackmailed her to break Eric’s (Greg Vaughan) heart. She cried during just about every stage of Holly’s custody battle. She cried when she got a hangnail. Okay, maybe not then, but you get the idea.
There was no greater hapless heroine than our dear Nicole Walker who was just life’s victim. Nothing was her fault and she had no control. Of course, she wasn’t always like that. When Nicole first blew into Salem, she was a lot to handle.
Well, watch out fellas cause it looks like that Nicole may be back finally. On Tuesday’s episode, she learned that Holly seemed to just vanish into thin air on former BFF Chloe’s (Nadia Bjorlin) watch. Then, she blasted her pal for letting it happen.
What? Who are you and what did you do with our weepy woe-is-me gal? All we can say is welcome home, Nicole!
Granted, we’re not saying that Chloe deserved what Nicole was dishing out because she didn’t. Parents are allowed to have lives and eat dinner with a friend in their own house.

It was just a little shocking to see Nicole come off the spool and attack her bestie that way. Poor Chloe was obviously shocked as well and cried on Stefan’s (Brandan Barash) shoulder from the shock of it all.
So is this a hint of things to come? Is this version of Nicole here to stay or will those tears return in short order?
It will be interesting to see what’s happened to Nicole during her time away and how it’s changed her — if it truly has. Guess we’ll have to tune in to find out.
