If you think the best thing soap opera writers can do for an actor is to give them a front-burner storyline, you’d be wrong. The writing team at The Young and the Restless has made an emotional gesture to Tracey Bregman, which is helping to heal her broken heart.
Bregman, who recently lost her Malibu home and the majority of her possessions, went on The Talk to discuss her ordeal.
Among Bregman’s valued possessions were albums recorded by her late musician father, Buddy Bregman.
So the Y&R scribes got their hands on some original Bregman albums and sent them to the actress with a touching note. It read, in part, “We know it must be devastating to lose not just a home, but the things that made it a home. We hope this can ease some of the pain you feel.”
Bregman wrote that she was extremely touched by this emotional gesture on behalf of executive producer/head writer Mal Young and his writing team. “Your thoughtfulness and sensitivity brings tears to my eyes,” the actress posted. “Thank you so much. I love you all.”
