Mishael Morgan and her real-life family left her native Trinidad and moved to both New York, and, later, Canada, when she was merely five years old.
But the recent tragic flooding in Trinidad and Tobago has left her devastated! The former star of The Young and the Restless left the show last summer, ending her run as Hilary Curtis Hamilton.
The islands of Trinidad and Tobago have suffered recent, devastating damage due to massive flooding.
According to ReliefWeb, an estimated 80% of Trinidad and Tobago were affected. Reportedly, 6,000 individuals have been hurt in some way and 13 shelters have been opened to assist flood victims.
Morgan tweeted her support to Trinidad and is keeping those in need in her prayers.
Local crews have worked to restore power after some areas suffered outages.
