One of the people closest to the late Kristoff St. John, who played Neil Winters on The Young and the Restless, was, sadly, not present for his memorial. And in a heartfelt post, she explains why.
Russian-born model Kseniya Mikhaleva, who was engaged to St. John at the time of his death, took to Instagram to explain that she had applied for a special visa to come to the United States to attend St. John’s service, but she says that she was denied that request.
“The reply from the Embassy was ‘no.’ My heart is broken,” Mikhaleva wrote. “I am going through this with a huge pain in my heart, and realize that I don’t have opportunity to say goodbye to him and put flowers on his grave. It is not right, not fair. I want to be with him, his family, and his friends.”
St. John’s fiancée also wanted people to know that she is not associated with online funds asking for any money. “I have not opened and am not planning to open any funds. Everything that you see was/is fake.”
“Fly, my love, and finally find peace,” Mikhaleva added. “Any person in my place would be torn into pieces. It’s scary, painful, and disgusting that I cannot be with my loved one and his family on his last journey to eternal peace. RIP, Kristoff St. John.”

Soap Hub extends deep condolences to Mikhaleva and St. John’s daughters, Paris and Lola, his ex-wife, Mia, and the rest of his family, and loved ones at this time.
