It’s brother versus brother on The Young and the Restless as Nick and Adam battle over the boy both call son — and who is named Christian after their dad.

Adam (Mark Grossman) went ahead and told the boy he was his real daddy, but the child just stared at him blankly, and it’s unclear whether he understands what exactly is going on. He did tell Nick (Joshua Morrow) that he considered him his real dad. But he seemed more interested in getting back to his cookie.

So, in the best interests of the child, should Nick and Adam share custody? What over 6000 had to say about the dilemma:

Needs Nick
That is a very bad idea, 69% of you counter. Christian belongs with Nick. Nick is the dad who has been raising him ever since Sharon (Sharon Case) admitted she and Dylan (Steve Burton) weren’t the tot’s biological parents.

Mother figures like Sharon and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) have come and gone. Nick was the only consistent parent in Christian’s life, and taking him away will just needlessly confuse the already obviously befuddled boy.

Brotherly Love
Sharing sets a good example for Christian, 28% are encouraging the brothers to play nicely. He can have both men in his life — and they can void beating each other to bloody pulps.

Nick can teach Christian how to survive a toxic dad… and Adam can teach him how to be one. Plus, it will make it harder for Victor (Eric Braeden) to play one son against the other whenever the mood strikes him.

Always Adam
Only a tiny 3% want to see Adam get sole custody. Blood is thicker than water, after all, and he didn’t voluntarily give up Christian — he “died!”

Sure, he changed the paternity tests, but that was for Sage. She’s dead now. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
