He’s been absent for a bit of time now, but the good news is that Eric Braeden is back on set taping at The Young and the Restless!
Braeden took a break from the show in early September travel to his native Germany. Rather than just take a two-week vacation, the Emmy-winning actor took an entire month off so he could fully enjoy his trip.
Victor’s absence has been explained by the character taking a major business trip, but he will soon return. Per the actor’s social media account, he’s back on set taping scenes.
Braeden shared a photo taken on the Y&R stage with his TV daughter Amelia Heinle (Victoria). Eagle-eyed viewers can make out what appears to be the set for Devon’s (Bryton James) home in the background.
While Braeden’s been off-screen, he certainly hasn’t been absent from Twitter. He updated his followers with photos of his trip to Germany.
Braeden’s also been vocal about changes that have gone on at the show, including casting moves this year that have lessened screen time for Doug Davidson (Paul) and other performers.
No word yet on what story Victor will be involved in. Perhaps he’ll come to Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victoria’s rescue as the police investigation into the death of J.T. (Thad Luckinbill) continues.
The Young and the Restless airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air times.
