On The Young and the Restless, Rey thinks he’s about to close JT’s murder case. Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) is sure Victor (Eric Braeden) did it.
Of course, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) knows she did it. And Victoria (Amelia Heinle), Phyllis (Gina Tognoni), and Sharon (Sharon Case) helped her cover it up by dumping JT’s body under the fountain at Chancellor Park – which is now missing (the body, not the fountain).
So, this case isn’t even close to being over. But do fans wish is were? Here’s how over 15,000 feel.
Wrap It Up
We are so bored, 93% whimper, can’t we end this torture already? By the time he died, JT (Thad Luckinbill) was such a jerk – and so different from the boy you, and Traci (Beth Maitland), remember – nobody was primed to miss him.
Heck, now that Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu) knows, even he is having second thoughts about his dad.
So, why do we keep going over and over this? JT was attacking Victoria, Nikki killed him to prevent her daughter from getting hurt, and Phyllis and Sharon were… drunk. Everyone has an excuse for what they did. What judge would put a woman in jail for protecting her daughter?
The women should have called Paul (Doug Davidson) the minute it happened. He has a soft spot for Nikki and Sharon.

Now that he’s gone (unofficially, no one in Genoa City seems to have noticed), they’ll have a hard time batting their baby blues and getting away with a slap on the wrist.
But the longer they wait, the worse it gets. So do it now! Finish it!
Slow It Down
No, 7% of the audience pleads, it’s actually getting good now! Phyllis and Sharon hating each other only adds fuel to this fire, and Victor sitting in jail is weighing heavily on Nikki and Victoria’s shoulders. That’s what we call drama!
