As many The Bold and the Beautiful fans are aware, Lawrence Saint-Victor is doubly treasured by the show’s producers. In addition to always delivering on-screen as Carter Walton, he serves as one of the show’s writers. Now, he’s talking about just what that means to him.

Lawrence Saint-Victor: The Write Stuff

“I had the honor of writing yesterday’s episode 11/15/2023, and seeing our wonderful crew, director, and actors bring so much life and love to the material was unbelievable to watch,” Saint-Victor shared on Instagram. “I’m so inspired by these people. I love my B&B family so much. #boldandbeautiful.”

Applause From Soap Opera Pals

Apparently, the feeling is mutual. Saint-Victor’s daytime pals responded to his heartfelt post with their feelings on the actor/writer. Courtney Hope (Sally, Young and the Restless), Sean Kanan (Deacon), Ashley Jones (Bridget), Karla Mosley (ex-Maya), and Lauralee Bell (Christine, Y&R) were among the well-wishers.

Fans also chimed in with positive remarks. “Thank you for continuing to change the narrative of the Black Man!” posted @ericahogan. “Me and my 16-year-old watch B&B, and I always point out how you’re a Black man in America living out his dream!!”

“I think that’s wild how you star in the show and write too. Carter is the hottest man on the show and needs more storylines, baby. Love it,” posted @shezzy1964. Added @lilbitfit.rachael: “Glad your sensitivity shines through. Please write Carter into more scenes.”

Lawrence Saint-Victor: Double Threat

“I do believe you are the only soap actor to ever write episodes they are acting in…true?” @cathybristoll asked. Saint-Victor replied: “I honestly don’t know, but I’m definitely blessed.”

Saint-Victor did indeed not only write the episode, but also he appeared in it as well as Carter demanded to know why Ridge had lied about who truly won the fashion showdown with Eric.
