Thursday was Spirit Day, a day on which people speak out against bullying against Lesbian, Gay, Bi-Sexual, Transgender, and Questioning (LGBTQ) youth, and your favorite soap stars were among them. Many folks are supporting the initiative by wearing purple in honor of the anti-bullying movement.
According to the Spirit Day website, pledging to “go purple” on Spirit Day shows solidarity with LGBTQ youth.
Your daytime faves donned purple this week and/or colored their social media posts with purple to show their support.
Jason Thompson (Billy, The Young and the Restless), Eileen Davidson (Ashley, Y&R; ex-Susan/Kristen, Days of Our Lives), Heather Tom (Katie, The Bold and the Beautiful), General Hospital’s Cassandra James (Terry), Lynn Herring (Lucy), Roger Howarth (Franco), Rebecca Herbst (Liz) and other stars took part in Spirit Day as you can see in the posts below.
Soap Hub joins these stars and others in support of Spirit Day!
