Billy Miller is beloved by fans of both General Hospital and The Young and the Restless and now he has even more reason to celebrate.
Miller was born on September 17, 1979 in Tulsa, Oklahoma and raised in Grand Prairie, Texas, which means he is turning 39 years old today.
He attended the University of Texas, Austin, graduating with a degree in the film department’s Production Sequence, a highly prestigious program with only 20 students accepted each year.
After graduation, Miller headed for Los Angeles. He worked in the mailroom of an entertainment management/production company, but after a dare from friends, he decided to pursue acting and did well booking national commercials.
His first gig was on CSI: NY but it was his role as Richie Novak on All My Children in 2007 that put him on the daytime map.
After that ended, he landed on jobs in primetime on Justified and seven episodes of The Ringer in 2011. And, that was also the year he landed Billy on The Young and the Restless, a role that won him three Daytime Emmys
In 2014, Miller made a huge jump from Y&R to playing Jake Doe on General Hospital, a role that would morph first into Jason Morgan and then Drew Cain.
While there, he also appeared in CSI and Major Crimes, recurring roles on Suits, Ray Donovan, and Are You Sleeping, as well as the movie American Sniper, directed by the legendary Clint Eastwood.
The handsome actor is also an avid boxer. He lives with his dog, Jones. Miller proudly supports Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, where he spent five years as a patient.
