The ABC-Prospect Park Lawsuit Is Finally Over!

After more than three years litigating in the courts, the lawsuit Prospect Park brought against ABC for using old One Life to Live characters on General Hospital has come to an end.

According to Soaps. com, the lawsuit was dropped last week. Prospect Park began liquidating assets over the summer as part of bankruptcy proceedings.

When Prospect Park acquired the rights to All My Children and One Life to Live in order to revive them with new episodes online (a failed venture), the company sued ABC for licensing reasons, as various characters from One Life to Live now appeared on GH with the same actor.

Appearing on General Hospital at the time were Roger Howarth as Todd Manning, Kristen Alderson as Starr Manning, Michael Easton as John McBain, and at one time Kassie DePaiva as Blair Cramer.
