On the next General Hospital, spoilers for Friday, June 7, 2024, focus on two very different tones. First, characters are soaking up the sun and peaceful vibes at the Metro Court pool. On the flip side, there’s the intense drama and angst happening in the wake of Gregory’s death.

Coming up in Port Charles

Nina (Cynthia Watros) and Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) at the Metro Court Pool at the same time? Well, their icy relationship has thawed as of late. Nina looks smiley and talks about being in for more peace. So does this mean mother and daughter are about to have a pleasant conversation? And why is summertime Drew (Cameron Mathison) taking things as a compliment? Who is he talking to?

Dex (Evan Hofer) finds himself at the MC pool, where Joss (Eden McCoy) works. This is very convenient, right? He claims some things are better left forgotten. Does this mean they’re trying to put recent drama behind them? These two seem to get closer and closer to a reunion with every interaction. Leaving the sun and chill vibes behind, Chase (Josh Swickard) and Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) instead give off tense and intense vibes. According to Chase, “How does this end without one or both of them hating us?” What are the newlyweds strategizing? With Finn (Michael Easton) downing shots and clearly struggling, they know something needs to be done pronto. Who are they afraid will end up hating them? Finn and Violet (Jophielle Love)?

Meanwhile, Jake (Hudson West) must witness something and then tell his mom. He says he didn’t want to tell Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst), but he had to. What did he see? Does it have to do with Finn?

Finally, Finn is at a bar, toasting to “taking care of business.” He’s deadset on spiraling and using alcohol to numb his pain and deal with the immense guilt and grief he feels over his father’s death. He’s certainly not thinking about Elizabeth. Is this yet another step towards the end of Finn and Liz? (Here’s a list of who’s presenting at the Daytime Emmys)
