It wasn’t that long ago that Hayley Erin left her role as Kiki Jerome on General Hospital to join the cast of the new Pretty Little Liars spinoff, Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists. Now, thanks to Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis), she’s received some stunning news about her new show!
Last week, Grahn shared the news that her talented daughter Kate had sold a song but when Soap Hub contacted the actress, she wasn’t allowed to reveal any further details. Well, it looks like the cat is out of the bag now.
On Monday, Erin posted to Twitter, wishing GH a happy anniversary and her former co-star answered her back, saying, “Kate’s song is gonna be on your show May 16th.”
To say that Erin was excited would probably be an understatement. Her tweet back to Grahn certainly said it all.
“Well, I can die happy. That’s my favorite episode and if it’s in the scene I’m thinking I WILL ACTUALLY DIE,” she said.
We certainly hope THAT doesn’t happen — GH fans still haven’t recovered from Kiki dying. But, of course, it was all said in fun. While it’s obviously a very proud moment for Grahn and incredibly exciting one for Erin, fans of Grahn also feel pride.
After all, Grahn was very public about her quest to have Kate and her fans from both General Hospital and Santa Barbara (where she played Julia, who went through a similar story of wanting to have a child) couldn’t help but root for her these last 21 years. Now, Kate’s success in the music world is a thrill for everyone!
General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
