Maurice Benard has become the soap king of hilarious videos on Instagram — or at least he has Nancy Lee Grahn thinking he is. The General Hospital star has sought his help in improving her own video-making skills for the social media platform — and the resulting tutoring session is actually quite funny.

“My 2nd @instagram lesson with my Sen Sei @mauricebenard,” Grahn (Alexis) wrote to accompany the short video.
In it, Benard (Sonny) it advising his co-star that it’s more important to be funny as she worries that she needs to look good, obviously not taking herself that seriously.
Benard goes on to advise about the length of these Instagram videos and then points out the most obvious flaw of her current one — the fact that she hasn’t put the camera on him.

This, of course, gets the rawest response of all from Grahn — and it’s pretty awesome. The chemistry between these two pros, who have worked together for decades, is obvious and they show why they are so incredibly good together — their comedic timing is right on target.
Even in their current storyline, which is quite heavy, these two are great at finding those moments where they can mine the humor of their situation. Whether it’s the therapist not understanding their particular dynamic or anything else, watching these two actors do ‘the dance’ their way is worth everything.
Here’s hoping we get to see more of these lessons in the future.
