Some men have a habit of forgetting their wedding anniversaries but you can bet General Hospital star Donnell Turner isn’t ever going to forget the day his character, Curtis, wed true love Jordan. It is also the day that the actor met a music legend in real-life!
Turner posted on social media that on the day his character’s wedding ceremony aired, he was in Hollywood watching music legend Quincy Jones be immortalized.
Jones was the first composer to be honored with his hands and footprints imprinted outside Hollywood’s TCL Chinese Theatre.
Both Rashida Jones (Parks and Recreation), who is Quincy’s daughter, and artist Snoop Dogg (who appeared on One Life to Live as himself on three different occasions) spoke at the ceremony.
During his career, Jones earned 79 Grammy nominations, winning the award 27 times, and he’s also taken home a Grammy Legend Award in 1992.
General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check local listings for air times.
