General Hospital has never been too clear about how fans are supposed to feel about Peter. Is he a brilliant criminal mastermind who all should beware a la his Daddy, Faison (Andres Hove)?
Is he a poor little orphan boy, forever scarred by his mother’s desertion, giving Anna (Finola Hughes) to feel guilty about –or maybe Alex? Is he a romantic leading man who has never before felt the way he does now about Maxie (Kirsten Storms)?
Are Peter (Wes Ramsey) and Maxie the new odd couple, bad boy/good(-sh) girl pairing a la Franco (Roger Howarth) and Liz (Rebecca Herbst)? What 21,000 viewers hope will happen!

For 70% of you, this couple is hot, hot, hot! What woman wouldn’t be attracted to the guy who got her husband killed? It’s a forbidden romance perfect for someone at Maxie’s level of maturity. She may be a mom now — twice over! Remember Georgie in Seattle? — but her judgment remains pretty childlike.
Peter will either live up to her dreamy-eyed expectations and she’ll be able to tell all her haters I told you so, or he’ll show his true colors sooner or later and teach Maxie a valuable lesson. And maybe then she’ll grow up.

The dude is such an emotional mess that he makes Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) seem stable. And Spinelli is weird! Maxie really shouldn’t be dating anybody right now.
She should be focusing on taking care of the child she’s been allowed to keep, and supporting her mom, Felicia (Kristina Wagner), through the Ryan (Jon Lindstrom) mess. Does anyone really think Pentonville will keep him away? Hey, maybe we can use him to get rid of Peter!
