The General Hospital recap for Thursday, July 25 features the power of friendship, some unwanted interference, and some devastating medical news.

Cameron (Will Lipton) arrived at Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) to find Josslyn (Eden McCoy) distraught over the missing padlock she and Oscar had secured to the PC footbridge.

Cameron revealed that he was the one who cut it off as part of his community service. Later, he and Dev (Ashton Arbab) headed to the recycling center and were able to retrieve the precious item.

Inside Casa Corinthos, Jason (Steve Burton) came by for a chat with Carly (Laura Wright). They discussed Dev and his adaption as a member of the household. Carly revealed that her baby will be born with spina bifida.

At her latest sonogram appointment, Carly and Sonny were dealt some devastating news — the baby will need emergency corrective surgery mere hours after it is born.

Michael (Chad Duell) and Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) ran into each other at the Mero Court and commiserated over the fact that the day marks their children’s’ first birthday. Chase (Josh Swickard) arrived and he and Willow declared their love for one another and discussed the future. After arriving at Sonny’s, Michael was bombarded by collect calls from an imprisoned Nelle.

Over at Crimson, Nina (Cynthia Watros) and Jax (Ingo Rademacher) talk about Cassandra Pierce but neither one show all their cards. Jax invited Nina and Valentin (Jams Patrick Stuart) for a meal but Nina instead insisted that Jax come and dine at Wyndemere.

After exiting the office, Jax called Hayden and revealed that they now had the perfect opportunity to search Valentin’s home. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
