Daytime newcomer Katelyn MacMullen has captured the hearts of General Hospital fans everywhere as the teacher with a secret, Willow Tait. Now that we know part of Willow’s secret, she becomes even more intriguing…
Here’s a primer on the actress bringing Original Wiley’s birth mom to life.
In the Beginning
MacMullen was born on June 27, 1995, in Los Angeles County, California and is part of a close-knit family that includes her two parents, a brother, and a cat.
The Play’s The Thing
When asked what her favorite play is in her Instagram Story, she said, “At the moment it’s probably The Dreamer Examines His Pillow by [John Patrick] Shanley, just because I’m doing a monologue piece from it and it’s full of heart and I love being a drama queen so it works.”
L.A. Story
The actress was also asked a question by a fan what she likes best about living in Los Angeles and she said it’s the fact that she lives two minutes from Whole Foods.
Before Checking Into The Hospital
Before winning her GH role, MacMullen appeared on the TV show, Sin City Saints as Josie, and also played Laura in the film, The Row, which also starred Colin Egglesfield (ex-Josh, All My Children).
Miss Write
MacMullen isn’t just an actress. She is credited with being a writer on the video game Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, so if she wasn’t already beloved by young men watching the show, it’s a pretty sure thing she is now.
