Can General Hospital really keep Nelle down? Sure, officials say her body was found but what does that really mean on a soap.

General Hospital Polling

Heck, Carly’s (Laura Wright) mind keeps conjuring her up, and on Friday, she even imagined Nelle trying to escape the grave and kill her, but that’s all in Carly’s mind, right? Soap Hub asked if you think Nelle (Chloe Lanier) is really dead. Read on for the results.

Of Course, Nelle Returns

Dead? What is dead on a soap, 94% of you ask. First off, Chase (Josh Swickard) was on his way to identify her body but got sidetracked. Did someone else do it? And was that someone else working with Nelle. Remember, Ms. Benson has tried to drive Carly insane before and learned it’s not that hard. If she thinks Carly let go of her that night on the cliff, she may be more vengeful than ever and that definitely can’t be good to the woman she’s tried to torture for years now.

Also, what fun is Nelle if she’s dead? We are now to believe she is the daughter Nina (Cynthia Watros) has been searching for and the child we have heard about since 2014 when Nina first appeared in Port Charles. How would that lead to a compelling story with years of fallout if Nelle were no more?

Of Course, She’d DEAD

Who could survive such a fall? That’s what the remained 6% of General Hospital polled ask. Her body was found, the cause of death is consistent with what happened that night, and Chase is a diligent cop.

Even if he got sidetracked, you still believe he did his duty and identified her body correctly. Would he really have let some stranger identify Janelle? No, he’d do it himself with the thought that Willow (Courtney Hope) could divorce Michael (Chad Duell) and be with him if she were really, most sincerely dead? So, yes, that body Nina buried was indeed Nelle. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
