Just one day after her husband, Kevin Hunter, allegedly welcomed a child with his mistress, daytime talk show host Wendy Williams was reportedly hospitalized after she was found drunk.
According to the DailyMail, the 54-year-old checked out of her sober living home on Monday, March 25. She was then found intoxicated and taken to a hospital where she was given an IV bag of fluids.
This comes just a week after Williams revealed she’s been living in a sober house on her show.
“You know me for being a very open and truthful person and I’ve got more to the story for you. You know [my husband] Kevin [Hunter] and I have The Hunter Foundation for the good of the people,” she shared.
“We recently launched our 888-5 HUNTER number for those of you caught up in the struggle of addiction. Well, for some time now, and even today and beyond, I have been living in a sober house.”
She continued, “When you see me come to work glammed up, right after the show I go across the street, I do my Pilates. I told you – two hours a day or [so], to take care of my body.”
Williams then explained she’s had struggles with cocaine and needed to get her life in order.
“I have been living in a sober house. … You know I’ve had a struggle with cocaine in the past,” she shared.
“I never went to a place to get treatment … there are people in your family, it might be you … I want you to know more of the story.”
She added, “Only Kevin knows about this. Not my parents, nobody. Nobody knew because I look so glamorous out here. I am driven by my 24-hour sober coach back to a home that I live in the tri-state with a bunch of smelly boys who have become my family.”
