Kathryn Dennis, who stars on the Bravo reality TV show, Southern Charm, is going through a tragedy in her personal life and she has recently revealed those details.
People has reported that Dennis’ beloved mother, Allison Calhoun, has passed away at the age of 59. “My mom’s my best friend,” Dennis has told the magazine in the past. “She stuck by me through so much. I don’t know what I would do without her.”
Dennis’ mother passed away on Wednesday, August 7 after a long illness. No official comment has been made, but People, quoting a source close to Dennis, said: “Their family requests privacy while they mourn with the sad loss. They’re very private people and they want their time to cope.”
Southern Charm, which debuted in 2014, tells the stories of socialites who live in Charleston, South Carolina. Dennis is a mother herself, having had two kids with ex-boyfriend Thomas Ravenel — daughter Kensington Calhoun Ravenel, who was born March 24, 2014, and son St. Julien Rembert Ravenel, who was born November 9, 2015).
Soap Hub sends its condolences to Dennis and her family at this time of great sorrow. Southern Charm airs on Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo. Check listings to see which channel Bravo is on your lineup.
