Selma Blair has been very open with her multiple sclerosis struggle and has used social media to inspire other people suffering from the same disease or who know someone who is.
The Cruel Intentions actress has also been honest about how her MS diagnosis has affected her little boy, 7-year-old Arthur. While it surely hasn’t been easy on him, he’s also used his mom’s story to inspire some work of his own!
Blair took to Instagram to share a photo of herself with her son at a workshop to help young authors. She also let her followers know what her son told her about his latest project.
“Young authors workshop. He wrote a story about being trapped in a house. He told me I inspired it,” Blair captioned the photo.
“Also, he likes making cute rabbit teeth. I approve. #arthursaintbleick #myeverything #momlife. And he always wears his #Athena warrior @aweinspired_ necklace. I approve.”
Blair was officially diagnosed with MS back in August 2018, but she also recently revealed in an Instagram post that she was feeling the symptoms before being diagnosed.
“And this was a year ago. I knew I was always exhausted. But I could ride and show and love every second. Now, it is hard to even walk with a cane when day is too much,” she captioned a photo of herself horseback riding.
“I can honestly say I loved it so much. Learning with #mrnibbles. I have no regrets. Just the knowledge I will ride and jump again.”
