The Voice’s spunky judge Miley Cyrus doesn’t just listen to and critique music, she sings it–all the time and all over the place.
Take this past weekend, starting in Nashville on Sept. 29.
Taking time off from her reality show duties, this native daughter turned up on the rooftop deck of Music City’s Tootsie’s World Famous Orchid Lounge, a honky-tonk located behind the Ryman Auditorium.
She was there to formally release her Younger Now album at a Spotify-hosted party.
During the do, she killed with her dad, Billy Ray, as the duo took on his classic hit, Achy Breaky Heart.
Then, the next night, a much much bigger venue welcomed the superstar in a surprise visit as Miley mounted the stage at Madison Square Garden to warble New York State of Mind with Billy Joel who was going crazy at his piano.
The former Disney princess wore a vintage Billy Joel t-shirt paired with hip-hugging metallic gold bell bottoms and glittery open-toed platforms.
Her wild mane was swinging to the beat as she belted out the signature hit in tandem with the Piano Man. The audience went wild.
Earlier in the concert delivered on Sept. 30, Cyrus paired up with Paul Simon to entertain the massive MSG crowd with their rendition of You May Be Right. Joel was still driving the keyboard as he joined in this rockin’ party.
Talk about epic!
