The Handmaid’s Tale is never easy to watch, but the second episode of Season 2 was especially difficult. Not only is Emily (Alexis Bledel) suffering in the Colonies, we also see how she initially got separated from her family. Not to mention, June is trying to escape and doesn’t know if she’s going to make it.
“When you have flashbacks you can see how strong each character actually is and that they are fighting the whole time to survive,” Bledel says in the video above.
