Huge congratulations are in order for one of your Days of Our Lives (DOOL) favorites, as Mary Beth Evans becomes a grandmother!
The excited actress shared her great news to Instagram with a snap of her eldest son, Danny, his wife Sharon, and their new adorable bundle of blue.
“Welcome Henry Herman Schwartz…There are so many that love you already. #congratsdannyandsharon #grandson #thesweetest,” shared the jubilant grandmother. Evans, who recently turned 57, is obviously bursting with pride at her family’s newest addition.
It feels like yesterday she was announcing the birth of her son, Danny, who was born in 1987. In an old interview from December 19, 1988 with the magazine Soap Opera Update, the actress talked about why she chose to live outside the hustle and bustle of Hollywood.
“She revealed that by choosing to live with her husband, Dr. Michael Schwartz and their infant son Daniel, in Pasadena, a charming older suburb of Los Angeles, she manages to avoid a lot of the hoopla and is able – most of the time – to enjoy an anonymous ‘normal’ lifestyle.
It all worked out well for the Daytime Emmy-winning actress, as she raised Daniel and his two siblings, Katherine, who was born in 1990 and Matthew, who was born in 1993. Evans has always spoken in glowing terms about having her kids and raising them.
Of course, now that she has a grandson to spoil, it’s a good bet she’ll get the chance to spoil him in ways parents don’t get to do.
Soap Hub congratulates Mary Beth Evans, her husband Dr. Michael Schwartz, their son Daniel, and his wife Sharon on the arrival of adorable little Henry and here’s hoping that he has a wonderful life.
