Just because Lucas found out that his and Bonnie’s Baby Bonnie was really Mimi and Rex’s Baby Emily, is that really a good enough reason to leave Days of Our Lives?
Looks like it. Bryan Dattilo has left the show yet again, presumably leaving Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin), Will (Chandler Massey), Arianna, Kate (Lauren Koslow), and everyone else who loves him. But hey, he has another daughter and an ex-wife, so he’s off to check in on Sami (Alison Sweeney) and Allie.
Still, he won’t be in Salem anymore. Here’s how over 5,000 viewers feel about that development.
Red Hot Anger
Lucas should not be leaving, 62% are stomping their feet in anger. He still has plenty of story left! Why did we sit through that whole Chloe kidnapped in Mexico by a drug lord story if not to reunite her with Lucas? They should ride into the sunset together!
No One Will Notice
For 27% of you, however, Lucas on or off the canvas doesn’t make a difference, he serves so little purpose.
His romance with Chloe is a snooze, Kate is too busy with Chad (Billy Flynn), Abigail (Marci Miller), Gabi (Camila Banus), and Stefan (Tyler Christopher) – not to mention that cheating Rex (Kyle Lowder). And Baby Emily is back with her real parents. Lucas can go.
Best Option
It’s probably better for Lucas to leave, 11% of the audience sighs. DAYS has shown that they only have one go-to story for him: Lucas gets screwed, Lucas falls off the wagon.
Sure, it gives Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) a chance to come in, tell him how great he is, and listen as Lucas promises never to do it again. But he always does it again. You’d rather have him out of town and happy, rather than in Salem and miserable.
Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
