While the news broke months ago that Matthew Ashford would be returning to his role as Jack Deveraux on Days of Our Lives, we haven’t heard from the man himself — until now!
Ashford attended the Starstruck YesterDAYS 2018 fan event, along with many other past and present stars from the show, the night before the soap’s huge extravaganza, Day of DAYS, this past weekend.
While there, he shared his thoughts — as much as the show would allow since they don’t like actors to give away advance story — on what it’s like to return to the show.
“I just want to thank everybody for all your support,” he said, while also confirming his return to the show. He also gave a hint about when fans can expect to see him back in Salem, while also adding that he was attending the big event the next day.
