Parents love their children with a fierce passion and anything happening to them is unthinkable. So, for Days of Our Lives star Eric Martsolf, his son’s recent injury was a frightening experience.
The actor took to Instagram to share his fears and talk about what happened with the boy who was injured during a recent soccer game. He had to be taken to the hospital, where both Martsolf and his wife, Lisa, stayed by his side through the night.
“Soccer collision+concussion symptoms+1am= a Mom who wont leave his side. #parenting”
A concussion can be a very scary experience, no matter what age it happens, so for a 12-year-old boy, it’s a very good thing the couple made sure he was okay by taking him to the hospital.
“Update: Large smile=clear CT scan. His head will be throbbing for awhile, but our night in the ER had a happy ending. Thanks for the good thoughts you guys; sometimes the best holiday gifts aren’t wrapped up at all. #health”
