Veteran “Days of Our Lives” star Melissa Reeves has crafted a long career in the entertainment industry. And now her daughter Emily has her eyes on stardom as well.
According to Emily Reeves’ official Instagram, the aspiring singer and songwriter has released two songs, “Camouflage” and “What I Came Here For.”
Her songs are available on iTunes.
Emily is also the daughter of Scott Reeves, (Formerly Steve Webber on GH/Ryan McNeil on Y&R), who is a gifted country singer and songwriter in his own right–he’s one-half of the country duo Blue County. Reeves also co-wrote Toby Keith’s 2011 hit single, “Made in America.”
The family moved to Nashville when Emily was 14 so her father could pursue a career in country music. About six years later, Emily followed in her father’s musical footsteps, becoming a singer/songwriter with a sound all her own.
Emily recently honored her dad with a touching social media post on Father’s Day.
On mom Missy’s birthday, Emily also penned left a beautiful social media note to the “Days of Our Lives” star.
Emily’s younger brother, Larry Reeves, and his girlfriend Olivia, own a thriving photography business called Lawrence and Olivia, based in Nashville.
