Songbird Chloe Lane may be in the midst of a storyline drought ever since she dumped two-timing Stefan but actress Nadia Bjorlin certainly has a reason to celebrate.
That’s because she was born on August 2, 1980, in Newport, Rhode Island, meaning that she is turning 39 years old today! The actress is a natural performer who earned recognition in the fields of music, dance, theater, and voice beginning at the tender age of six.
After graduating from Palm Beach County School of the Arts and the Professional Children’s School in New York, Bjorlin split her time between participating in nationwide singing competitions and pursuing an acting career.
The year 1999 proved to be a banner one for Bjorlin who won the Metro Lyric Opera Competition and landed a role of NBC’s Days of Our Lives. On DAYS, Bjorlin played Chloe Lane, a bullied teenager who found her strength through song and wound up having a successful run as a world-renowned opera singer.
Bjorlin had two lengthy stints on the soap, first from 1999 to 2005 and then 2007 to 2011. After making short term returns and appearing as a special guest star, Bjorlin was rehired and placed on contract in 2016.
Aside from her daytime work Bjorlin has appeared on a number of popular primetime series including Two and a Half Men, Jake In Progress, NCIS, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and 2 Broke Girls. Since 2009 Bjorlin has played lesbian author Lara on the web series Venice.
