Emmy-winning actress Judi Evans is joining the cast of a gritty film about human trafficking… and you’ll never guess what her character does!
Evans tweeted that she just started work on a new movie called “I Am Not For Sale: The Fight to End Human Trafficking,” directed by Romane Simon.
“It’s a gritty film about the horrors of human trafficking,” she said, and then she thanked the director, “for daring to tell this story and allowing me the opportunity to go WAY outside my comfort zone to play a virtually unredeemable character.”
But that’s not the only news for Evans regarding the movie. Someone else has joined the cast and she couldn’t be happier.
“Huge bonus! My son Austin Michael Luciano was cast as Brent in the film,” she shared. “Can’t wait to see him work his magic!!!!” According to the IMDB, the movie will be released in October of this year and the running time should be about 80 minutes.
In the meantime, Evans continues to appear on DAYS and was even on today, as Adrienne had to answer to Sonny (Freddie Smith) for not telling him that Will (Chandler Massey) was trying to get his memory back.
Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
