One custody case appears to be resolved now that Hope has taken back her baby daughter Beth (the infant formerly known as Phoebe). But there’s another young one on The Bold and the Beautiful who needs a re-assignment in regards to finding a home.
With Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) facing charges for his immoral maneuvers and possible manslaughter or even murder charges regarding the death of Emma (Nia Sioux), it looks like his son, Douglas (Henry Joseph Samiri) may need to find a new guardian. Soap Hub asked BB fans who should raise Douglas if his father goes away. Read on for the results.
It’s A Boy!
Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) won the most amount of votes with nearly 49% of your support. This makes perfect sense. She’s Douglas’ biological aunt and she has a hole in her heart that perhaps the little boy can fill.
Douglas could never take the place of baby Phoebe (Beth), but Steffy has a lot of love to give. And Douglas could use some!
Hope (Annika Noelle) and Liam (Scott Clifton) came in second with almost 40% of your votes. Douglas has come to think of Hope as his surrogate mom and we know what a great dad Liam is. Plus, Hope raising both Beth and Douglas would intensify her feud with Steffy! Everybody wins!

Brooke’s Home
Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) also won some of your support. A little over 10% think that the supercouple would make super-parents to Douglas.
Ridge is the boy’s grandfather. And if the show’s writers ever decide that Ridge’s vasectomy didn’t quite take, well, maybe Ridge is actually Douglas’ true dad!
Doubting Thomas
A small percentage of you, less than 2%, believe that Thomas should maintain custody of his son. Even if Thomas stays out of jail, would Douglas feel safe around his controlling dad? Thomas might resent his son for spilling the beans that Phoebe was Beth all along!
