Courtney Hope is best known for playing Sally Spectra on The Bold and the Beautiful, but the actress has appeared on other television shows including Grey’s Anatomy, Bones, Transparent, NCIS, and Criminal Minds.
While she stays busy with her acting career, Hope also makes sure to follow her other passions. From where she was born and raised to her famous boyfriend, here are five fast facts about The Bold and the Beautiful actress.
In The Beginning
Hope was born on August 15 in Dallas, Texas, but she was raised in Plano, Texas. She started dancing at a very young age, as well as performing in school talent shows. She ended up attending a performing arts school and was able to graduate by the age of 15. She moved out to Los Angeles when she was 16 to start her acting career.
Fitness Focused
Along with being a talented actor, Hope is also a very accomplished fitness instructor. She teaches both beginner and advanced classes at Cardio Barre, but she’s also trained in pilates and kick-boxing!

Hope has appeared in a number of feature films, including Shailene Woodley’s Allegiant, Jean-Claude Van Damme’s Swelter, Displacement, and Prowl. She is also going to be in an upcoming horror film called 13 Bumps.
In Her Free Time
When she’s not busy acting — or teaching fitness classes — Hope makes sure to spend time with her dog, Stevie (named after Stevie Nicks, of course). She’s also very passionate about dancing, painting, photography, and spending quality time with friends and family.
Getting Personal
Hope is currently in a relationship with General Hospital star Chad Duell. The couple started dating in 2016 and recently moved into a home together.
