He plays good guy and doting dad Liam Spencer, leading man on The Bold And The Beautiful. But what do you know about the man who brings Liam Spencer to life — Scott Clifton? Here are five fun facts about the multiple-Emmy winning star that you may not know!

Clifton’s House
Clifton’s a native of Los Angeles, born on October 31, 1984. His parents are Ron and Faye Snyder and Clifton is an only child. The actor has been married to wife, Nicole, since 2012. In 2016, they welcome a son, Ford.

Soap Hopper
Clifton started his soap career playing Dillon on General Hospital, the son of Jane Elliot’s Tracy, who, ironically, once tested for the role of Stephanie on BB, which went to Susan Flannery. One of Clifton’s earliest scene partners on BB was Susan Flannery (Stephanie)! In 2009, he had a short-lived role on One Life To Live as Schuyler Joplin.

Hat Trick
Clifton’s work as Liam has earned him not one, not two, but three Daytime Emmys. In 2011 and 2013, he won statuettes for, respectively, Outstanding Younger Leading Actor In A Drama Series and Outstanding Supporting Actor In A Drama Series. In 2017, the actor earned his first award for Outstanding Lead Actor In A Drama Series becoming the first actor to win in all three of those categories.

The Music Man
In addition to acting, Clifton is also a singer. He’s recorded songs for albums So Much For The Nightlife, Mannequin, and Girl Go Home. The Bold And The Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air times.
