The Young and the Restless (YR) recap for Thursday, January 18 features all lies and revelations, as Paul accused Ashley of stabbing Graham, Tessa stole something priceless from Mariah, and baby Sam turned multiple lives upside down… all while adorably napping.
Ashley (Eileen Davidson) and Jack (Peter Bergman) found a passed out Graham (Max Shippee) and Dina (Marla Adams) missing. Graham was rushed to the hospital, while Paul (Doug Davidson) called the Abbott siblings to announce that Dina is at the station, confessing to the murder of… Brent Davis.
Paul would rather discuss why Ashley’s fingerprints are on the syringe that injected Graham, when another call directed them all to report at the hospital.
The nurse on duty announced that Graham won’t make it, and they need permission from next of kin to take him off life support. Dina was happy to grant her permission as his wife. Strangely, Jack and Ashley, who didn’t think their mother was mentally fit to make decisions a few minutes ago, were OK with her making this one.
Sing For Your Supper
Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) couldn’t think of a song on her own, so she stole Mariah’s (Camryn Grimes) journal and used the feelings Mariah had written down about Tessa.
Uhm… how does she expect not to get caught? And sued? And drummed out of the business? And lose her meal-ticket, sorry, boyfriend, Noah (Robert Adamson), over what she did to his sister?
Sam, I Am
Lily (Christel Khalil) and Cane (Daniel Goddard) took a trip down memory lane – with flashbacks – trying to decide if they should get back together. Cane asked if Lily can accept Sam as a part of her life. Lily said she can. That was easy….
Meanwhile, babysitting Sam gave Hilary (Mishael Morgan) the idea to have her own baby. It’s not usually that easy….
