The Young and the Restless (YR) recap for Thursday, May 3 has Kyle running to Victor with the news that can bring down Jack (and himself, has he thought of that?).
Plus, Nikki, Sharon, and Phyllis do their best to talk Victoria out of confessing to JT’s murder. But then Phyllis comes up with the most desperate plan of all!
Intervention Overdrive
Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) calls Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) and Sharon (Sharon Case) to come over to the house so they can help Nikki talk Victoria (Amelia Heinle) out of confessing to JT’s murder.
Victoria swears she will take all the blame, but the women think her story has too many holes, and they’ll all be brought down. Each makes an inspiring speech about why this is a bad idea, and Victoria promises she won’t be JT’s (Thad Luckinbill) victim anymore.

However, when Phyllis hears that Victoria didn’t show up for work, she realizes what Victoria is about to do, and stops her. Nikki shows up and proposes Victoria get out of town – Phyllis will even go with her, call it a work trip. Phyllis tells Billy (Jason Thompson) about it, and he only finds it a little weird. Phyllis promises Nikki she will take care of Victoria.
You’re Playing With the Big Boys Now
Billy catches Kyle (Michael Mealor) having lunch with Victor (Eric Braeden), and snipes that if Kyle were his son, he wouldn’t trust him either. Doesn’t Kyle realize Victor is just using Kyle to get at Jack?
Kyle offers Victor ammunition that will end Jack (Peter Bergman) at Jabot for good. Victor is tempted but wonders if Kyle is up to this level of corporate intrigue. Kyle is so eager to prove he’s a big boy, he doesn’t even think about how it will come back to bite him, too.
