The Young and the Restless (YR) recap for Thursday, May 17 features Jack reverting to old habits, Nikki disapproving of Arturo’s new friendship, Victoria telling Paul a tale, and Hilary spying on Devon.
You Don’t Know Jack
Jack (Peter Bergman) stumbled away from his car accident and made it back to the cabin where he calls Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), but hung up when she mentioned being in touch with Ashley (Eileen Davidson). Jack called his former pill dealer and requests a delivery.
Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Arturo (Jason Canela) missed Jack at the cabin, and headed back to Genoa City. Nikki saw them together and told Arturo she disapproves.
Tell All… Almost
Victoria (Amelia Heinle) responded to Paul’s (Doug Davidson) badgering by telling him yes, she lied. JT (Thad Luckinbill) did come to see her the night of her Girls Night Out. He confessed to trying to kill Victor (Eric Braeden) and wanted them to go on the run as a family.
Victoria refused and, instead, gave him cash to get out of town for good. Victoria felt that banishment from his kids was a worse punishment for JT than jail.

She was embarrassed, and so lied to the women about Abby being the one to ring the doorbell. Paul let Victoria go, but told Christine (Lauralee Bell) he thinks she’s lying.
There’s No Business Like My Business
Hilary (Mishael Morgan) saw Devon (Bryton James) having breakfast with a mystery woman and made it her mission in life to find out who she is.
Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) had no idea, so Hilary kept digging. Turns out she’s helping Devon design a nursery–for a child who not only hasn’t been born yet, but hasn’t even officially been conceived yet. Clearly, Devon doesn’t know how risky soap opera pregnancies are.
