The Young and the Restless (YR) recap for Monday, March 12 was an hour of true confessions, as Victoria admitted what she did to Victor – and Victor passed the news on to the last person Victoria wanted to know about it. Plus, Abby defended her mother’s honor, Victor d9d a nice thing – but he had his underhanded reasons, and Devon agreed to do something potentially very stupid – for some nice reasons.
Victor (Eric Braeden) confronted Victoria (Amelia Heinle) with Abby’s (Melissa Ordway) evidence about how Victoria colluded with Jack (Peter Bergman) to frame Ashley (Eileen Davidson) for corporate espionage. And Victoria did something surprising – she confessed!
Granted, she had a bunch of justifications – but, at least she told the truth.
Victor apologized to Ashley and asked her to come back to Newman. Ashley wasn’t feeling the love, so Victor laid on the charm extra thick by taking Dina (Marla Adams), who thought she’s the hottest co-ed in Genoa City, out on a date.
Ashley was grateful for Victor playing along with her mother’s delusion. But she told Victor the only way she’s come back to Newman is if Victor fires Victoria.
Abby and Victoria exchanged barbs, with Victoria actually tried to suggest that she was driven to set up Ashley because… reasons. Abby told her the gloves are off, and she’ll be gunning for her sister’s job full-time from now on.
Meanwhile, Victor dropped a bombshell on JT (Thad Luckinbill) – Victoria lied to her boy-toy, and set him up to back up her lie, too!
Against My Better Judgment
Devon (Bryton James) babysat Sam, and he invited Hilary (Mishael Morgan) to join him. They bonded, and Devon agreed to father her child. But he intends to co-parent, too. Though without becoming re-involved with Hilary. Does Devon know what words mean?
