The Young and the Restless (YR) recap for Friday, February 9 features another example of Victor always been one step ahead of everyone else.
I Know What You Did Last Season
Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) was back at her favorite alternative bank – Adam’s crypt. She was startled by Sharon (Sharon Case), who said she was in the neighborhood visiting Cassie, and thought she’d stop by. Sharon told Chelsea about Hope.
Later, Chelsea opened the crypt to see that her money was gone. But that’s not nearly as scary as the text that came in, asking Chelsea about visiting Christian’s real father.
Chelsea went running to Victor (Eric Braeden), freaking out that someone else knows their secret. Victor dumped out Chelsea’s missing money.
Meanwhile, Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) played Scooby Doo at the cemetery and noticed that the plaque with Adam’s name is off-kilter.

Yes and No
Victoria (Amelia Heinle) asked JT (Thad Luckinbill) to keep a special eye on Ashley (Eileen Davidson), now that he’s Head of Security at Newman. JT said he can’t do that, it would be unprofessional. (As opposed to having sex on a desk during the workday.)
Talk turned to Lily (Christel Khalil) and Cane (Daniel Goddard) renewing their vows. Victoria wished them the best. JT suggested maybe they should make things more official, too. Victoria asked if that’s a proposal. Because, in that case, her answer is no.
Can’t Stay Away
Hilary (Mishael Morgan) and Devon (Bryton James) talked business, and about the baby Hilary wants to have. Hilary tried to push the conversation towards something more personal, but they were interrupted by Simone, a singer Devon wants to sign for his streaming music business. Hilary talked up her ex. Professionally speaking, of course.
