The Young and the Restless (YR) recap for Friday, March 9 began with Victor accusing Ashley of corporate espionage and ended with Billy, Phyllis, and Abby vowing to avenge her. Plus, Lily made a major life change, and Hilary and Devon wondered if they’d been played.
To the Victor Go the Complaints
Victor (Eric Braeden) informed Ashley (Eileen Davidson) that he found proof she snuck Newman Secrets to Jabot, and fired her. Ashley threatened to sue for termination a cause… and that cause is Victoria (Amelia Heinle).
Billy (Jason Thompson) vowed to fight dirty to defend his sister’s honor. Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) was excited to join him and this time – as opposed to when she was raging against Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and Sharon (Sharon Case) to Nick (Joshua Morrow) – Billy wasn’t afraid of her going too far.
But they may not need to bring out the big guns. Abby (Melissa Ordway) pilfered Jack’s (Peter Bergman) cell-phone records and found evidence of dozens of calls to Victoria. She triumphantly shoved the proof in Victor’s face. But is Victor one step ahead — as always?
It’s Good To Have Friends In High Places
Right after Cane (Daniel Goddard) told Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry) and Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) that they’d need to pitch in to help with Sam while Lily (Christel Khalil) is out of town on business (is Cane ever going to take responsibility for his own child?) Lily announced that she decided to launch her own modeling agency.
She went to Devon, and he offered to fund it as a new division of Hamilton-Winters. Boy, it’s convenient to have money!
One Strike And You’re Out
Hilary (Mishael Morgan) and Devon (Bryton James) learned that Shauna had been cutting school and isn’t planning to take the SAT.
Devon wondered if they’ve been played, but Hilary ranted about how Devon always gives up on people after just one mistake. It doesn’t sound like she was merely talking about Shauna….
