The Young and the Restless (YR) recap for Tuesday, May 8 features Victor making sure Jack sees Dina confessing that he isn’t John’s son in the most public way possible. Plus, Sharon and Nick explore the parameters of their new relationship.
Forget It Ever Happened
Ignoring what a horrible mother and wife Dina (Marla Adams) actually was, Jack (Peter Bergman), Ashley (Eileen Davidson), and Traci (Beth Maitland) throw her a movie screening where she is treated like a star by make-shift paparazzis Billy (Jason Thompson) and Abby (Melissa Ordway).
And, led to believe she is a wonderful human being worthy of a gushing documentary. To further prove how horrible she is, Dina chastises them for not having the premiere at Cannes, instead of “this dingy place.” Everyone laughs as if she’s said something delightful.
Fathers and Sons
Jack gives Kyle (Michael Mealor) cuff-links belonging to his grandfather and waxes poetic about John. Kyle actually has the decency to look chagrined and guilty.
Victor (Eric Braeden) and Neil (Kristoff St. John) also discuss father and son relationships, and Victor crashes the Abbott family film screening. Dina invites him to stay. She remembers how they danced together the night John “stood her up.” She says if Victor goes, then she goes. No one takes advantage of her offer.

As footage of Dina discussing how she cheated on John and he isn’t Jack’s biological father rolls to the horror of everyone assembled, Victor smiles smugly.
Friends With Benefits
Sharon (Sharon Case) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) have sex. Then they eat pizza, watch a movie, and have sex again. Nick says he isn’t interested in a relationship. He’s still not over Chlesea (Melissa Claire Egan).
Sharon pretends to understand, and suggests they keep their new arrangement a secret. So they have sex yet again.
